About Me

தெளிவுறவே அறிந்திடுதல்; தெளிவுதர மொழிந்திடுதல்; – மகாகவி பாரதி

Hi there, I’m Vaikun Rajanihanth. I have been working for past 8 years with Microsoft technologies and currently I am working as .Net/SharePoint Developer. I just wanted to keep all the problems/scenarios/steps which I faced while doing any development. This blog is mainly focused on SharePoint but I will be updating .Net and SQL Server as well. There might be several ways to solve any problems, so don’t take anything that I have written here to heart, and be sure to make your own decisions.

Please note I do post articles and tips for my future reference, if it will help someone who wants to develop or solve his/her problems, I would be really happy! Thanks!!

Have you ever successfully accessed a folder share (on another server ) by way of field from a SharePoint list ?

Not another SharePoint library but an actual shared folder on Windows file Server .

    May using ‘ file:// ….” ? But not working . May it needs a content type ?
